Time Recording

If you are in a profession, or any sort of service business, you need to keep track of your time.  We use time recording ourselves for our consultancy work.  What our system keeps track of is:

  • Who did the work
  • Which client it was for
  • What project it was, and what stage
  • Where the work was done
  • The date, day of week, week number, start and end time, and hours worked
  • Whether at basic rate, time-and-a-half, or double time
  • The amount chargeable for that particular piece of work
  • A detailed description of what was done
  • Details of any expenses, and whether they are chargeable
  • Whether the work has been billed

We can then produce all sorts of reports analysing billings by client, consultant, project, etc, and, just as importantly, work in progress.  We can print detailed time sheets to accompany the invoices, and even the invoices themselves if we wish.

If you need a time recording system, whether it's something simple, for two or three users, or a whole big system for dozens or hundreds of people, give us a ring – 020 7735 6688.
